St Bridget of Kildare Parish Ladies Guild

Together, with our spiritual director Rev. Robert W. Wisniewski, Jr. we the Ladies Guild of St.Bridget of Kildare Parish, promote and support the welfare of the parish. Together, we initiate, plan and participate in religious, educational, social and service activities which promote fellowship and community within our parish. We warmly invite all Ladies of the Parish to consider donating your talents and time to participate in a very rewarding experience.

For baking and helping at the Ladies Guild Table
God has given us many gifts and calls us to use those gifts to build up His Kingdom. Our faith identifies us as stewards and gives us a relationship with God. Many of these gifts are given for our needs; others are given for the needs of others. Stewardship is a ministry by which we nurture and share our gifts of time, talent and treasure.

What is God asking us to do today?

There are a lot of things that you could do, but you've got to do what God has asked you to do--and stick with it.

First things first.
 Margaret thank you for coordinating a fun and informative program for us. Jean and Cathy for scoopin us up some ice cream and refreshments, you are the hostess with the mostest! Julie for using your talent and skill with the camera to take some pictures for us, and for creating the flyer for the Christmas Dinner. Nancy for making up a pretty basket for the winner . Char over at the rectory office for linking our blog and church website, and for putting our information in the bulletin,Thank you.

Carolann-Thank you card received from Alex the scholarship winner, he will be attending St. Ignatius, Madison will be attending Padua.  Each year we sponsor 2 students who will further their catholic education into high school with a scholarship.

Marge- Reminded us the Rummage Sale will be here before we know it....just saying.
Margaret- Went over all the upcoming events, and the Ladies Guild dinner. Julie created a flyer which will be posted in the Narthex about the event, the address, menu, cost and RSVP
Faith- Introduced the website to the members, encouraged them to view it, become familiar with it, and spread the word.

Fr. Rob for giving your blessing to this new endeavor. We will use this as a positive outreach tool for our parish to communicate to our members, promote stewardship, cooperation,  invite and welcome new members.

Marypat- West Side Catholic Center August Summer match, is doubled by the benefactor. We donated 150.00 which was matched. There are currently 200 families in the residential center. 

Mary- Treasury report was made, and hard copy passed out.
Jean- We could use some bakery for the next meeting, please see Jean to let her know what you can bring. 
Nancy-Was very busy since last March sending out a variety of cards and notes throughout the parish. Easter, Birthday,Anniversary,Sympathy & Thinking of you cards were sent to various parishioners.

Our special guest will be Sister Phyllis Lavelle  who will talk to us about Fatima, Mary & Lourdes. Remember if you can bake something for this meeting that would be great.
